LVMH, outstanding partner of the campaign
In the fall of 2017, LVMH Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton made an exceptionally generous contribution to the Louvre’s campaign to acquire the Renaissance treasure King François I’s Book of Hours and bring it back to France.
Mr. Bernard Arnault, President of LVMH, responded to the appeal of the Musée du Louvre and its President, Mr. Jean-Luc Martinez, to add one of the most remarkable artifacts of the French Renaissance to the national collections held by the Paris museum. At the start of the campaign, LVMH announced that it would contribute 50% of the funds required.
LVMH is thus maintaining its 25-year tradition of patronage in favor of the safeguard, enrichment, and promotion of the artistic and cultural heritage of France.
